【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesrecommendedpracticesforthepreventionofwaterdamagetosteamturbinesusedinfossil-fuel-firedelectricalpowergeneration.Thepracticesaddressdamageduetowater,wetsteam,andsteambackflowintoasteamturbine.Thepracticesareapplicabletoconventionalsteamcycle,combinedcycleandcogenerationplants.Thepracticescoverdesign,operation,inspection,testing,andmaintenanceofthoseaspectsofthefollowingpowerplantsystemsandequipmentconcernedwithpreventingtheinductionofwaterintosteamturbinesandassociatedsystemsandequipment:(a)motivesteamsystems;(b)steamattemperationsystems;(c)turbineextraction/admissionsystems;(d)feedwaterheaters;(e)turbinedrainsystem;(f)turbinesteamsealsystem;(g)start-upsystems;(h)condensersteamandwaterdumps;(i)steamgeneratorsources.Anyconnectiontotheturbineisapotentialsourceofwatereitherbyinductionfromexternalequipmentorbyaccumulationofcondensedsteam.Thesourcestreatedhereinspecificallyarethosefoundtobemostfrequentlyinvolvedincausingdamagetoturbines.Althoughwaterinductionintothehighandintermediatepressureturbineshavehistoricallybeenrecognizedasthemostdamaging,experiencehasshownthatwaterinductioninlowpressureturbinescancausesignificantdamage.
