【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeprovidestheuserwithauniformprocedureforcalculatingthethermaltransmissionpropertiesofamaterialorsystemfromdatageneratedbysteadystate,onedimensionaltestmethodsusedtodetermineheatfluxandsurfacetemperatures.ThispracticeisintendedtoeliminatetheneedforsimilarcalculationsectionsinTestMethodsC177,C335,C518,C1033,C1114andC1363andPracticesC1043andC1044bypermittinguseofthesestandardcalculationformsbyreference.1.2Thethermaltransmissionpropertiesdescribedinclude:thermalconductance,thermalresistance,apparentthermalconductivity,apparentthermalresistivity,surfaceconductance,surfaceresistance,andoverallthermalresistanceortransmittance.1.3Thispracticeprovidesthemethodfordevelopingtheapparentthermalconductivityasafunctionoftemperaturerelationshipforaspecimenfromdatageneratedbystandardtestmethodsatsmallorlargetemperaturedifferences.ThisrelationshipcanbeusedtocharacterizematerialforcomparisontomaterialspecificationsandforuseincalculationprogramssuchasPracticeC680.1.4TheSIunitvaluesusedinthispracticeareconsideredstandard.1.5Thispracticeincludesadiscussionofthedefinitionsandunderlyingassumptionsforthecalculationofthermaltransmissionproperties.Teststodetectdeviationsfromtheseassumptionsaredescribed.Thispracticealsoconsidersthecomplicatingeffectsofuncertaintiesduetothemeasurementprocessesandmaterialvariability.SeeSection7.1.6Thispracticeisnotintendedtocoverallpossibleaspectsofthermalpropertiesdatabasedevelopment.Fornewmaterials,theusershouldinvestigatethevariationsinthermalpropertiesseeninsimilarmaterials.TheinformationcontainedinSection7,theAppendixandthetechnicalpaperslistedintheReferencessectionofthispracticemaybehelpfulindeterminingwhetherthematerialunderstudyhasthermalpropertiesthatcanbedescribedbyequationsusingthispractice.Someexampleswherethismethodhaslimitedapplicationinclude:(1)theonsetofconvectionininsulationasdescribedinReference(1);(2)aphasechangeofoneoftheinsulationsystemcomponentssuchasablowinggasinfoam;and(3)theinfluenceofheatflowdirectionandtemperaturedifferencechangesforreflectiveinsulations.
