【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwaterintherangefrom0.02to5massorvolume%incrudeoils.Mercaptan(RSH)andsulfide(SorHS)assulfurareknowntointerferewiththistestmethod,butatlevelsoflessthan500?g/g(ppm),theinterferencefromthesecompoundsisinsignificant(seeSection5).Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminewaterinthe0.005to0.02mass%range,buttheeffectsofthemercaptanandsulfideinterferenceattheselevelshasnotbeendetermined.ThistestmethodisintendedforusewithstandardcommerciallyavailablecoulometricKarlFischerreagent.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
