【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortheinstallation(seeNote1),servicingandmaintenanceofnew,previouslyusedandsecondhanddomesticgas-firedcookingappliancesindomestic,commercialandindustrialpremises(seeNote2,Note3andNote4),includingeducationalestablishments.ItisapplicabletogascookingappliancesconformingtoBSEN30-1-1,BSEN30-1-2,BSEN30-1-3andBSEN30-2-2,ortoBS5386-3orBS5386-4,burning2ndand3rdfamilygases.Itisnotapplicabletocookerswithintegralboilersusedtoprovidecentralheating,whicharecoveredinBS6798.ItisrecognisedthatthisstandardmightbereferredtofortheinstallationofgascookingappliancesconformingtostandardsotherthanBSEN30?1-1,BSEN30-1-2,BSEN30-1-3andBSEN30-2-2,orBS5386-3orBS5386-4.However,othercriteriamightalsoapply,suchassurfacetemperatures,temperatureriseofsurroundings,appliancestability,etc.,andthesehavetobetakenintoaccountinthemethodofinstallation.NOTE1Forthepurposesofthisstandard,installationincludesdesign,inspectionandcommissioning.Itisrecognizedthateachofthesetaskscanattimesbeperformedbythesamepersons.NOTE2Aswellasnormallyconstructeddwellings,domesticpremisesincludeanypermanentlysitedleisureaccommodationvehicles,residentialparkhomesandpermanentlymooredboats.ParticularandadditionalrequirementsexistforthesupplyofgastothesecategoriesofpremisesandcanbefoundinIGEM/G/6[13].NeitherthisstandardnorIGEM/G/6[13]appliestogasinstallationsintowedormotorizedcaravans.NOTE3Wheredomesticcookingappliancesareinstalledincommercialorindustrialpremisesinconjunctionwithcateringappliances,referenceshouldbemadetoBS6173,particularlywithregardtoventilationandextraction.NOTE4Forcommercialpremisesthatareprimarilydomesticpremises,e.g.asmallbedandbreakfastpremises,thegeneralrulesofBS6173donotapplyexceptwithrespecttohygieneandgeneralsafety.
